Sometimes, the app might not register your new (or renewed) subscription right away. If this is the case for you, please go to the "Log in/Account" tab (or "Your Account" if you're logged in) in the app's menu and tap "Restore Purchases." You may need to quit the app completely and restart it for the subscription to go into effect.
Please note that your ad-removal subscription is only applicable in the mobile app. It will not remove ads from Merriam-Webster.com.
