Why aren't there spelling suggestions in the app?

We love this idea, and it is something that we have on our To Do list! 

In the meantime, there are a couple of different ways to find a word you aren’t sure how to spell. First, you can use the voice search feature. This feature does require an internet connection, and it allows you to say the word you are searching for into your device’s microphone. To use, tap the microphone icon in the top right corner of the app.

If you know (or can guess) how the word you are searching for begins, you can also try typing as many letters as you’re confident with into the search bar. This will bring up a list of dictionary entries that begin with those letters. You can scroll through the list until you find the word you need!

Another option might be to use our thesaurus feature. The thesaurus lists not only synonyms and antonyms, but also near synonyms, near antonyms, and related words. If you know how to spell a word that’s related to the word you’re looking for, you can always check its thesaurus entry!
